Have either of you ever cast a vote for a POTUS who bequeathed  a smaller deficit to his successor than what he inherited?

I voted for Larry Hogan for Governor of Maryland.

He left a 4 Billion surplus to Governor Wes Moore of Maryland

The surplus is gone and we have to come up with 1.6 Billion more now.

I am seriously considering voting in the dem primary to stop this guy.  Maryland is getting hit.
