As much as you are obsessed with Trump your powers of observation are ****.  Dum Dum, like many of deals he took the extreme position, in this case making Greenland to finally get what he wanted.

Making Greenland a state would be stupid.  They are very socialist and have government subsidies to include housing.  They would get two senators who would probably be dems, as well a house member.

The "deal' seems to be some sovereign land for us as well as increasing the the personel in Thule.
