I will readily admit that unicorn world is an easier place in the short term.

But in the long run, thinking like a man is less painful. 

Whoever told you that you should be JUST AS HAPPY with *** neighbors as with white neighbors lied to you. They abused your credulity. 

And deep down, you know this is true. You want white neighbors. You lie to yourself that you do not care, because you have bought the lie that racial "prejudice" is "bad." 

Tell me why it is bad. Defend that thesis. It IS your position. Do you believe that you can defend it?

An opinion you will not defend is not really yours. It was laid on you by outside forces. You don't believe it. You acquiesce to it.

I have had and do have black neighbors 

now you say *** neighbors 

that’s a different kettle of catfish

not sure why you refuse to believe that I don’t give a damn if black folks move into my neighborhood 

I have a good guess

And I do know that prejudice is bad 

In the fifties and sixties we lived in an all white neighborhood 

​​​​​​ black folks started moving in, and white folks lost their **** mind

I’m sure that you heard of “white flight” 

my dad was proud of his home, so we stayed 

I was one of 3 or so white people in my class through 8th grade

all of my friends were black 

in high school I sat in the black section of the cafeteria because that’s where most of my friends were

Now most of my friends are white ( not all ) because I move out of state and the divide was in place

and before you ask me why I didn’t move into a black neighborhood 

for the same reason I didn’t move into a trailer park 

I don’t know any of those ***

point being…  believe it or not

Black people don’t bother me as much as they do you

I blame my dad for that
