Seems most if not all brands will reflect the sun off the emitter and cause some sort of an issue. In my experience the SRO will show multiple dots but they seem to be separate dots and may be easier to tell the difference between the two. While the DPP seems to just light up a large portion of the lens and it’s more difficult to be able to find the right dot/spot to use for aiming. I’ve only had it happen a time or two during a match but it’s been inconvenient. Early morning and bays facing east do not play well with dots.

you have no real world experience.
the camera makes it appear this way, it is a well defined red dot
Yes, a camera—particularly a smartphone camera—significantly alters how a Red Dot Sight (RDS) appears in a photo compared to how it looks to the human eye.
Cameras often make the reticle appear
larger, more distorted, blurry, or "bloomed" (starburst effect), even if the dot is perfectly crisp to your eye.
I can show you in person. You hold a sign above your head and I will demonstrate in full sun light
Do you prefer North South or East West?
