The whole Middle East is just not worth being involved in. Including Israel. They survive by backstabbing. That is just how **** is done there. In 1975 (or 1979, whenever), we gave Iran a nuclear infrastructure, training program, and nuclear fuel to build power plants for nuclear energy. They were an ally, which helped us during the cold war against Russia. It wasn't meant to be weaponized. However, like most things that go down in the Middle East, their regime was overthrown. Well, if we were their ally, then why the hell didn't we help them, especially since they had a nuclear program? So, the training and infrastructure we provided was expanded to the **** they have today. Partly thanks to the US.

That whole region is unstable. They don't know how to live in a stable way of life. Regimes come, they get overthrown, then another one comes...they get overthrown...loyalties shift. Repeat. Remember the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan? They helped us overthrow the Taliban. Then they came in and started shooting at our soldiers. So, we kicked their *** also. 20 years later, the Taliban is back in power. 

The reason why many Middle Eastern countries hate America in the first place is because we come in and start siding with countries that piss off other countries, then that country ends up pissed at us, because they get overthrown by another group of ragheads. So, then the countries who used to be pissed at us are now friendly and want us to bomb other countries who are also pissed at us...and this cycle repeats. Over and over and over.....


We stir up snakes in their den, then wonder why we get bit.
