We bring students in to turn them. They get their degrees and they join various organizations to further their careers. If they step out of line, they can be frozen out of their professions. Some are flipped outright. Others are unwittingly compromised in a multitude of ways - and don't even know it, ever, unless they need to be used in some way by the deep state.
If you look at nations where we launched ersatz color revolutions and coups, you will find that those nations' intelligensia were educated in the US. It is the deep state, not molly coddling liberals, who want those iranians right where they are.
