Yep, being a picker would be considered a valid and livable career path for able bodied US Citizens to take.
We have all sorts of millionaire farmers in the USA...getting rich off of the backs of dirt cheap illegal labor.

I've travelled to a lot of countries and bought groceries, and I can tell you that proportionately, they get **** compared to us. In Brazil, food costs about half of what we pay here. But the people only earn about a third - so they're paying more of their income for food. Ya know why? No migrants being paid crap wages. Believe me, meskin labor makes murkins' lives a **** of a lot easier. Your food would be double, I **** you not - maybe triple. Murkins only pay about 10% of their wages in food. Brazilians are double that - and for the bottom tier people, it's more like a quarter of their income, just for food.
Meskin agricultural labor is good for americans and good for meskins. We just need to get em visaed up.
