The "enemy" (not my **** enemy - you're welcome to pick yours) would never, EVER consult journalists for intel.
They have these satellites up in space they rely on. And they also get shared intelligence from allies like Russia and China, both of which have probably at least like ten satellites and stuff. Maybe even more.
