How soon will we hear Trump's play on words and reframing about the war?

And what right have we to dictate the end of Russia's war? Did we bleed for that land, or did they?
We were not pushed - we DID the pushing. Russia was pushed. And it pushed back harder and better and smarter and more successfully than we ever believed they could. WE thought the Russian people would turn on Putin's government. WE thought wrong. He is as popular as ever. The only flank Putin has to protect is his RIGHT flank. He has the eyebrows of the hawks raised a bit, for his incremental approach to the war. They want overwhelming force - shock and awe. He wants to limit the collateral damage. But the people? They are with him.
And then we have Iran. If you think we are anywhere REMOTELY CLOSE to dictating events on the ground in Iran, I am pleading with you to tell me what news-sewer you are slumming in. We don't even have boots on the ground. The very KURDS - the world's ready proxy army that reacts to the word "chicken" like Michael Fox in "Back to the Furture" - have told the US to **** off and fight their own battle.
I have no idea what the Kurds could possibly have against Trump, but that's their position. They won't fight in Iran, even if we promise them territory and statehood recognition for their trouble. The israelis have made it perfectly clear that they WANT boots on the ground, but those boots must be goy boots, animal boots - not human boots, not jewish boots.
And landing in Iran with some k-rats and comms and commands is hardly shaking the Shiraz and perambulating the Persepolis. There's many a slip twixt cup and lip.
You seem under the impression that the war's conclusion is written in the sands, inevitable and unquestionable. I do not beg, but I damned sure differ. I'm not even a quarter way through my bag of corn. I'm pacing myself, and I recommend you follow suit. The fat lady isn't even warming up. She's gorging on kabob.

Korea has been a forced mess for quite awhile.
The Japs **** it up, then the Russians, then the USA.
That's a 100+ year old mess. The people didn't have any say it that.
Dividing countries always seemed awkward to me. The people kinda get the **** end of the stick.
otoh... If it solves the continuing war and brings peace, why not?
You still up with resentful people though. There's no pleasing everybody.
