Federal government employment continued to decline in March (-18,000). Since reaching a peakin October 2024, federal government employment is down by 355,000, or 11.8 percent. Federalemployees on furlough during the partial government shutdown were counted as employed in theestablishment survey because they worked or received (or will receive) pay for the pay periodthat included the 12th of the month.

Dead weight can stay dead!
EXCELLENT!
The only way that Biden could make his job creation look good (aside from claiming that the millions of workers HE FORCED TO STAY HOME were considered "new hires" when he finally allowed their businesses to reopen after Covid) was to then prop up his dismal job numbers with new "make work" federal hires that were never needed, just like the 86,000 new armed IRS agents he wanted.  Biden hired tens of thousands of additional bureaucrats EVERY **** MONTH in order to make his job "creation" number look good, when additional government workers ADD NOTHING to the economy, but only take money out of the private sector, as taxpayers are forced to pay for them.
