If the narrator's predictions comes true - and I genuinely believe that they will, - our closeness with israel will remain; as will China's and Russia's closeness with Iran. Real power in the middle east will no longer be lopsided. China and Russia will become less trusting of and more competetive with one another.
The biggest price to be paid will be paid by the euro-dandies. But who knows? In 20 years, Europe may be transformed into something more masculine and worthy. Hard times make hard men.
