Since you watch CNN, you probably didn't notice the Iranian government mowing down 40k protestors. 

Well, they don't have a second amendment there. Therefore, it is quite easy for a tyrannical government to turkey shoot them. The people have no guns. 



And your ******* still can't figure out the purpose of the second amendment when a perfect example is happening in real time.
