After a short lapse of time the truth is revealed and the facts are easily researched with a few key strokes. 
The Hoax Party will be put out of business.

Depends on how the algorithms and supervised learning for the AI is implemented.  The data researchers establish what the correct answers are, thenteach the machine how to reach it. So, AI can be manipulated to slant toward a particular point of view.
