Requirements for Valid CIB Awarding:Go argue with the army.
- Individual Qualification: The soldier must be an infantry/Special Forces MOS, assigned to an infantry unit, and actively engaged in ground combat.
- Documentation: Unlike medals, the CIB often uses "extract" orders covering several members.
