When you are repeatedly shown to be wrong, you can't continue to demand credibility.

If Pete's CIB was individual, it would include a narrative.

A guy who wears his dog tags to a rape is not going to exclude such from his bio.

Pete was in Baghdad and Samarra....he was a community organizer..
Did Pete Hegseth See Combat

Yes—Pete Hegseth did see combat during his time in the U.S. Army National Guard, particularly during his deployment to Iraq from 2005 to 2006. Serving as an infantry officer with the 101st Airborne Division, he operated in active combat zones where U.S. forces were engaged in counterinsurgency operations against militant groups. His responsibilities included leading soldiers on patrols, coordinating security operations, and participating in missions that involved direct exposure to hostile threats such as ambushes and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

His combat service is formally recognized by the award of the Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), which is only given to infantry soldiers who have personally engaged in active ground combat.
In addition, he received the Bronze Star Medal, further indicating meritorious service in a combat environment. While not every detail of his engagements is publicly documented, these military honors and his assigned role strongly confirm that he experienced real combat conditions during his Iraq deployment.
