We have solid reserves here (We are the world's largest oil producer), and we have the tech that many others need to get theirs out of the ground. So we're well situated for power. We have the Mojave for solar, many of the world's largest rivers for hydro. Calling oil wars "strategic" is based on a whole **** ton of questionable and morally reprehensible assumptions.
The homosexual torture dungeouns SHOULD have been enough to make you a consciencious objector.
Oh but it IS strategic. If we are taking it then someone else is not.
