In 1990s, the ratio of Americans vs foreign workers in STEM was 8:1.
2000: it was 5:1.
2010s, it was 4 : 1
2019: 3.3 to 1
2021: 4.3 to 1.
Today: 3: 1
We went from 8:1 to 3 : 1. Now I am sure we can blame labor costs. That it is cheaper to hire foreigners. at.
