Can you post a source for the $500M TEFAP cut? I checked USDA releases, the Federal Register, and the 2025 budget documents and there’s no record of a $500M reduction, no March 2025 announcement, and no AP/Reuters reporting on it.If you’ve got an official USDA link or a CBO/CRS report showing those numbers, drop it. Or stop posting FAKE *** ****.

In 2025, the USDA implemented major funding cuts, including over $1 billion for local food purchasing programs (
Local Food for Schools and
Local Food Purchase Assistance) and reduced SNAP benefits, with 4.3 million fewer people receiving benefits by early 2026. These changes followed H.R. 1, the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act of 2025," which tightened work requirements and eligibility, cutting $186–$295 billion in projected spending over a decade.
