We have been trying to find alternative energy sources for auto and heavy diesel fuel vehicles for decades. All to no avail. The closest we have to oil are EVs. But when we compare/contrast it to an eco-footprint between oil and electric, it comes to a 0 net gain (someone will need to explain to
@Blackvegetable what "net" means. He is having a difficult time with that concept).
EVs leave a heavier carbon footprint during manufacturing than drilling for oil, but over the lifetime of both cars, the gas combustion vehicles leave a higher carbon footprint. So, it's a wash.
Let's get AI on it. It may be our only hope.
