Trump is not "defending" those nations from Coupkraine.
And he's not going to "defend" Romainia against Russia.
The very LAST thing Trump wants is to push Russia even CLOSER to China than he already has. He knows when to take the **** L and make the right moves to salvage what he can. That's a major reason he dropped the sanctions regime and let Russia move its oil. It was not ONLY about the global supply. It was about throwing Putin a bone. He values that relationship because he does not want Russia to draw closer to China.
He's a bit tied up right now. Jacking himself over a drone that is ALLEGEDLY of Russian origin going off course is not at the top of his play list. ESPECAILLY with Coupkrainian drones doing the same thing in 3 different NATO countries in the past few months.
