Your problem isn't with the housing boom, but with mass transit...

No train station no neighborhood.

Mass Transit comes through town at 3-5PM everyday..  Bumper to Bumper backup from one end of town to the other in 25mph.

The Eastern Shore is horrible for any low rent travel..  They do provide a bus service.

We have a railway network, decayed and grown over, that was born in the Oyster and Poultry Industry. I wish they were revitalized. Many sections are paved trails now. I would bike to a train rather than run the truck at 20MPG...40 cents a mile...The Oysters are gone, swim in the bay at your own risk of forever flesh eating infection that has killed two people I know of.
