   Once the reflecting pool was filled visitors says it looks the same. Can't tell that anything was done to it. 
  Because the water does the reflecting not the bottom. Probably why it was named the reflecting pool in the first place.

I actually saw a pool expert that dark navy blue is not the best choice for reflecting.   
I didn't pay close attention. I would think the opposite myself.

He did say the darker surface aborbs more heat, prmoting algea growth.

I am looking forward to any reflection on  grifting annd kickbacks involved in the deal.  CP agrees the price tag was something he thought  he could beat.

Downtown is 80 miles, but the Grandson has to see it.  I do want to get him in The Air and Space Museum (and I want to go too).  I'll try to make a point of sharing some imagery.
