The U.S. economy in 2025 added millions of jobs...month after month...according to BLS data. Even the Federal Reserve notes that monthly payroll growth averaged around 214,000 in the years leading up to 2025.
 So, the idea that “Trump destroyed as many jobs as were created” is:
 mathematically falseeconomically falseand based on a misunderstanding of what the Brookings number represents
