When billionaires get enough wealth, it isn't about money anymore. Their motives are rooted in power and leverage from there. They need wealth to attain that power and leverage, but once they have it, money is no longer a first priority. Think about it. What can Musk afford that other multi-billionaires cannot? If one has 100 billion, then they can buy anything they want. No different than Musk. So what does money do from there? The next level is power and leverage over each other.
