They will be considered open game in these parts. Even the trump supporters that I talk to here in trump country think it's a horrible idea.
. They're coming around slowly to what's happening. This is gun country. After the Pretti murder and truml and his toadies started saying that only terrorists would carry a gun during a protest they were aghast. The NRA, GOA and other 2nd amendment groups were pissed and let them know.
They changed their tune real fast. You do not want to piss off the millions of gun owners in this country.
I can't find it in video my history.. A pardoned J6'r was out for 6 days, got caught driving without a license in Indiana, and ended up dead at the officers hand.
You are referring to the fatal shooting of 42-year-old Matthew Huttle, an Indiana man [reported as Huddle in some broadcasts] who was shot and killed by a Jasper County sheriff's deputy on January 26, 2025, just days after receiving a presidential pardon for his involvement in the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot. - The Stop: The deputy informed Huttle that he would be arrested for being a habitual traffic violator.
- The Altercation: Instead of complying, Huttle ran back to his minivan to grab a loaded 9mm handgun.
- The Struggle: While wrestling with the deputy over the firearm, Huttle exclaimed, "I'm shooting myself" and "I can't go to jail for this".
- The Fatal Outcome: The deputy backed away and fired multiple shots, fatally wounding Huttle. [1, 2, 3]
Following a thorough investigation by the Indiana State Police, the Clinton County Prosecutor's Office concluded the deputy's use of deadly force was legally justified and no charges were filed against the officer. [
