Maybe when someone near and dear to you gets raped or murdered,  your eyes can tell your brain what happened. Hind sight is all you'll have in the way of an apology.

We were driving the truck to the flying field on Ragged Point with the planes in the back for work.. As we approached an accident scene, a car was in flames impacted into the trees.  My coworker was an EMT..  We WERE first response. I won't say anymore than Dad died on the scene in flames, the passenger died in the hospital. They were out duck hunting and asleep at the wheel in transit...

I am not immune to the horrors.. We have them..  I have lost friends to suicide.. Many vets have.. 6K a Day.. I have to walk in public here wondering if some MAGAnut is gonna spray the grocery store.
