The United States is experiencing a demographic shift where the massive Baby Boomer generation is aging into retirement while national birth rates remain near historic lows. As a result, the ratio of retirees to new labor force entrants has shifted dramatically over the past two decades.
  • The Retirement Wave: An average of over 4.1 million Americans turn 65 each year. Retirements frequently outpace the volume of new workers entering the economy, causing significant strains on the labor pool.
  • Declining Births: The U.S. fertility rate is hovering around 1.6 births per woman, which is well below the 2.1 replacement level required to keep the population constant without immigration.
  • Worker Shortages: With fewer children being born and the retirement age population expanding, demographic economists project that the native-born U.S. labor force will shrink. This dynamic is steadily increasing the dependency ratio, meaning a smaller pool of working-age adults is tasked with supporting a much larger retired population.

Liberals are spoiled children, miserable, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic & useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats ~O'Rourke

The Democratic Party seems intransigent on their position of keeping the party ‘woke,’ detached, exclusionary, and totally insane.
