   Looks like old Mitch is having his last glitch.
 
Won't it be a hoot if Kentucky's Democratic governor Andy BeShear appoints a Democrat to replace him?

I beleive Mitch coordinated with Kentucky State Legislature to assure that doesn't happen...  I forget the mechanism.

25th amendment was created after Kennedy was assasinated.  A congressman just came back from dissapearing into treatment for depression for four months. We need continuity in leadership.  

Mitch's illness may have allowed the worthless war powers act to pass.  The spineless bastards passed an approval for any military action in Lebanon yesterday. His vacancy does work in liberals favor.. I really think we need Vice-Senators or something..  It is incredible to think he may be dead already or at least living on a plug. All I heard was one text message has been sent top a colleague that said "I'm Good"

Family was in Lexington for 40 years.  I saw the city grow on semi annual visits.  Kentucky has reason to be grateful to Mitch for bringing in more federal tax dollars than any other state.. There is a 4 lane highway all the way to the Mississipi river bridge, that was rickety as hell when I crossed it..  Joe funded upgrades.

Mitch's epitaph is the American truth..  "Work till Death"
