So according to you, the ICE agent should have let the approaching car run him over, regardless of who was driving it?

Since the driver was ALSO an illegal, who likely had no idea that he was NOT the target that ICE had come for that day, the agent provided a great service by shooting the criminal for attempted murder, saving taxpayers the cost of deporting him when he probably WOULD have been the deportation target tomorrow, or next week!
