So 1000 Miles.. we are halfway home.

We meet an elder couple here at the hotel in VA.. The woman asks "Have you been to the Mighty 8th museum?" She volunteers there.

Her parents were murdered in the holocaust, she wears a Star of David pendant.. She had the honor of taking a 100 year old Tuskegee airman through the exhibit at the museum. Carl Jung could not have called the chance meeting better. We exchanged contact info. She was very angry that (****!) Trump ordered signs at the Smithsonian that read "What you are seeing may not reflect factual information" and vowed to not let anyone discredit the 8th.

Hats are off.. Flags are down... There is buyer's remorse in every town I have been too.
