Building customer loyalty kind of means more than just getting it off the lot.
One should reasonably assume you get to run at  least a tank of gas through it . . .

American exceptionalism..  Designed obsolescence and PHd required to repair.

The car got damaged by hail a year ago.  We could not get it in for repair when the crews were here from Oklahoma to heat the metal and suck the dings out.  Mrs got a quote..  11K$. The car was only 22K$ when we bought it.  I can't convince her to wear the war wounds like a crown.  It is paid for.

Maybe they'll settle for a cash payment of like $5K.. That would be nice.
