9/11 families petition to bar NYC Mayor Mamdani from memorial
The Founding Fathers of America were not uniformly Christian, nor did they aim to establish a Christian nation. However, they also did not advocate for a strict secularism that would completely separate religion from government. Instead, these individuals were men of faith who sought to ensure that religion, though not exclusively Christianity, would play a meaningful role in public life.
