I think even propellor rubber banded balsa wood planes were illegal there. We had to teach them basic aerodynamics. It's interesting that no one sells them any more. No Guitars or telescopes in Walmart. Anything that promotes gain of brain function is banned.

Speaking of Assymetric Warfare....   This popped up on my feed this week. It must have trickled down from Ukrainian Neccessity into the RC Market.  I actually ran the one on a stand that was bigger 20 years ago.
