WE as a nation were in an ISOLATIONIST POSTURE and lost bigly for nearly a year. WE only had ~600,000 men in uniform at that time. Had the BATTLE OF MIDWAY been a success by the Japanese, there is a good chance we would have capitulated to their demands and lost the war totally.

Well, I don't know. Maybe if we would stop **** with other countries by putting them into poverty, so we can exploit their resources, they may not need a reason to attack us.
