"The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them."
- Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States, 1833

Just curious....was Burger ever able to explain why there was no FEDERAL Firearm Laws from 1791 2when the Bill of Rights was ratified until the NFA of 1934, 143 years?
You have already taken a stand IN FAVOR of that legislation.
Are you afraid of this question:

That's not an illusion.

1.  It is very relevant to YOUR argument.  It was not a fraud for the first 141 years since ratification.  There was unfettered access to weapons.

2.  The NFA of 1934 did not remove your right to own ANY firearm.  It simply regulated CERTAIN weapons.  Not ban them.

3.  I think it is time you post exactly what you think my stand on the NFA of 1934 is.

These Sarah Brady types must be educated to understand that because we have an armed citizenry, a dictatorship has not happened in America. These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies. - Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor
1. That's a lie....rights were subject to the choice of the jurisdiction you entered...

Your lack of reading ability and comprehension skills is rather shocking.  Note the original question say:
no FEDERAL Firearm Laws from 1791 2when the Bill of Rights was ratified until the NFA of 1934, 143 years?
I was very careful to word it that way because a non reading ignorant **** like you would bring up state and local restrictions.

Take your L and move on, Bitch.  I won you.
