If you discount all the people with no skin in the game, there isn't much real news.
I find it droll and stupid that capitalism is defended from criticism as a purely economic system, and the myriad social ills I barely scratched into manifest entirely independent of it, but every ill of every OTHER country is blamed on their alleged economic system.
What happens in America is so manifestly NOT free enterprise that the pretense of "free-enterprise capitalism" is as dishonest as the pretense of a "Judeo-Christian" ethic. It would be closer to true to claim their is an Islamo-Christian ethic, since neither Islamists nor Christians consider Mary a whore who conceived through a roman soldier she sold ****** to, and neither Islamists nor Christians hiss and spit at the name of Christ.
Let's talk reason and source. The REASON so much "socialism" gets into our "capitalism" is that our "capitalism" would result in riots otherwise. The SOURCE of "socialism" in our "capitalism" is as much repukes as democ rats. W Bush lilkey had FDR's jaw dropping in the next world.
