For the hundredth time, one family, multiple design.  Note the words ORIGINAL design.  That means there were design changes.

Now your turn.  Go to the link where that citations comes from.  Post what list the M 16 is on and what list the AR 15 Sporter is on.  Then tell me what what years the Sporter was military issue.

If the Ar 15 Sporter is on the military list and the you can post the dates it was standard army issue for combat I will take the rest of the week off, returning Sunday.  If you don't DO NOT EVAH presume to lecture me or anyone else on this manner again.
