The amount of produce, home made jellies, jams, relishes, jerky and sauces we give away would probably surprise you
I smoke meat for people when I got the smoker going...why waste the space when I can throw their stuff on too.
just did a brisket for myself, I added some chickens for the cleaning lady and a shoulder for my daughter in laws parents
right now everyone wants some of our cantaloupe and habanero/fruit jerky
adding some peach trees and blackberries next spring
but I am not a farmer
Sounds like you finally decided to do some work in retirement. Helping others is what it is all about. Trying to take everything for yourself has to be a dissapointing end.
