Little to no crude oil has recently left Kharg Island, with exports from the hub dropping to near zero or halting entirely.
Current Export StatusVolume:
Iranian crude oil exports from Kharg Island have ground to a halt or fallen to zero.
Cause:
A renewed U.S. naval blockade and economic measures have left loading berths and terminals at the island largely idle with no active tanker departures.
Significance:
Kharg Island handles roughly 90% of Iran's crude oil export capacity, meaning the halt severely restricts Tehran's primary petroleum revenue stream
