Once again, don't try to introduce "facts"...MAGATs have severe anaphylactic reactions to those...There is nothing wrong with Tariffs as long as they are stable and designed to encourage US investment. After all that”s the way China got ahead - high import tariffs and being open to foreign investment. The problem with Trump’s tariffs is he is an unstable idiot and changes tariffs on a whim. For example when Trump tariffed China Apple moved some of iits manufacturing to India. Then Trump had a tantrum and lowered Chinese tariffs and increased Indian ones. Plus the US is now only 10% of China’s exports. Trump’s tantrum tariffs lack a strategy so all they have done is increase prices for Americans and cause America to fall further and further behind China.
