- States Allowing Abortion on Demand — Some red states, like Florida, allow abortion up to 15 weeks, while others have more restrictive laws.
- Total Abortion Bans — Thirteen states have enacted total bans on abortion, with few exceptions, impacting access significantly.
- Variability in Access — Access to abortion varies widely even within red states, with some allowing it under specific circumstances.
There are 23 red states. Of these, 13 are "full ban" states, give or take. GA has it for six weeks - I have no idea whether the folks counting this view that as a full ban, as I do.
So there are ten red states, give or take, that still allow abortion - two of which allow it for up to 20 weeks (AZ and NC). You can say it isn't, but that IS a compromise. Show me ONE blue state that'll compromise about ANYTHING. You people are deranged.
Also, states rights are not shabby. They are more democratic than leaving power with the feds. THE CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE, THE MORE DEMOCRATIC. You may be too stupid to understand this, but the state is closer to the people than the federal government. The county is closer than the state.
