The States have NO RIGHT to dictate HOW the voting process should be administered... ESPECIALLY since there is GROWING evidence, THAT THEY are CURRENTLY ABUSING IT !!
THAT is the quagmire that the SCOTUS tried to address... Accepting the Presidents RIGHT, but ALSO encouraging CONGRESS to take action... NO WHERE did they say the CORRUPT BLUE STATES had the authority to CONTINUE with the CORRUPTION !!
