I don't appreciate being lied to, and I don't see it as a "disappointment." I see it as betrayal. You would, too, if you were psychologically equipped to deal with it - but you're still getting over that trip to the store on bald tires and the fact that fixing your baldy took all of your money, leaving you unable to buy ice cream.
