///////KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Placing the state’s top election official in what his lawyers call an ‘impossible position,’ Missouri’s attorney general filed a federal motion Wednesday to block the state Supreme Court from holding Secretary of State Denny Hoskins in contempt.
The emergency motion, filed by Attorney General Catherine Hanaway in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, asks federal Judge Stephen R. Clark to intervene and halt the state high court’s contempt proceedings.///
