"Free enterprise" is found when you go to a local flea market...or some red light district with lots of h0e$...certainly not within those capable of beguiling clueless / hapless MAGATs while quietly taking taxpayer money (and it's not just limited to Musk, look at all those contracts granted to companies like Boeing, LMT, etc.) ...

       

It isn't so much about government contracts. Private companies contract with the government all the time. Our roads, bridges, freeways, libraries...etc...are mostly built by private companies with our money. No big deal. The difference is that the government funded infrastructure provides a public benefit. The ROI is profitable for the taxpayer. We invest our taxes and in return the taxpayer gets benefits from it such as the infrastructure. The private companies profit. Good. They are providing a good service for the public. However, Tesla does nothing for the public. Nothing.  The taxpayer gets 0 ROI. Yet, Musk gets billions.
