Sure, the US would be better off with more refining capacity.

But to the extent that refining capacity is insufficient, that does not explain the rise in the price of diesel fuel since February of this year.

This argument.... that the rise in the price of diesel since February is due to lack of refining capacity in the US.... is set forth by people who are either liars or idiots.

If the war with Iran had never been started, the price of diesel wouldn't be much higher now than it was in February.

And, to the extent that one wants to "blame Zelensky", the Ukrainians would be absolutely nowhere in their war (against Russia) without a great deal of help from the US.

So the US government could end the war in Ukraine on any given day of the week; and the US government could have refrained from starting a war with Iran.

So much misinformation out there.

Smart take my guy...I for one am not against adding refining capacity, as I am all for lowering gas prices...but try to make a case like that in front of retarded MAGATs (that is, both things can be true simultaneously - we should add more capacity and the Iran War is to blame for higher gas prices) and you will receive angry responses fully devoid of any logic...like from a certain moronic individual here blaming "Communists"...
