President Donald Trump recently told New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani that he has "great potential" and that he hopes Mamdani will be a "great mayor" during a joint press conference at Gracie Mansion.
Despite past political friction where Trump sharply criticized Mamdani prior to taking office, the two have displayed an unexpectedly cordial working relationship, with Trump calling him a "nice guy" who is "off to a great start".
Trump is in love with Mamdani and together they are going places.
