As an avid ski mountaineer, i made history by completing the
first-ever successful ski descent of Mount Everest's direct North Face via the legendary
Hornbein Couloir..... while using my skateboard, sans the wheels of course, as a slalom ski.
Long considered the "holy grail" of extreme ski mountaineering, the descent required navigating a brutal, unrelenting
9,000-foot vertical drop of pure ice, snow, and rock in what experts call a strict "no-fall zone".
I stopped to rescue a party of Sherpa Guides, and in the process had to leave my phone behind, while carrying two of the wounded to safety.
