Hey buddy!

I’m in a very similar situation. Me and the wife crossing 40 years old, been together for ten years, have a house and two wonderful kids. Life is perfect.

Except for the fact that my wife also has no drive for intimacy with me.

We’re working on it and are also in couples counseling, because it’s a huge issue.

As you, I’m also an amazing husband. I’m the one who gets up early, get the kids ready, drive them to school, pick them up after school and then go grocery shopping with them so I can make dinner later. I do way more than 50% of both mental and physical load.I buy her flowers and take her on dates. I talk with her about all her interests and life. We watch her **** reality TV together to connect on something she enjoys.

She has just lost her desire for intimacy with me.

And I specifically write intimacy. Because this is not necessarily about sex. I’m not asking for a BJ every morning or a doggy every night.All I want is for my wife to desire me like I desire her. That she wants to kiss me and cuddle with me because she finds me attractive.

That she wants to have intimacy with me in bed because she finds me arousing and sexy.It erodes my self confidence when the woman of my dreams, the love of my life, shy away from my touch and quickly break away from my hugs and kisses, because she doesn’t have the same needs as I have.
