I've seen it happen MORE than once at the polls!!
Here we are REQUIRED to sign an electronic signature pad and it's compared RIGHT AT THE POLLS before you get your ballot. AND we are required to produce ID to vote.
IF the signature isn't comparable, you are REJECTED from voting normally, can cast a PROVISIONAL ballot and it's segregated, and you are given a couple of days to get your signature on file redone. This year, I saw 2 people get provisional ballots because of changes in their signature. THAT HAPPENS as you age and diseases affect your signature as well.
